The VMAs are headed to CBS for the first time.
The 2025 Video Music Awards will air on CBS this fall, with a simulcast on MTV, which hosts the awards ceremony. The three-hour show will also stream on Paramount+.
While the 2025 VMAs will only be available across MTV, CBS and Paramount+, the one-hour live pre-show is set to air across Paramount’s networks. The 2025 show marks a change from the 2024 ceremony, which saw its pre-show and ceremony air across MTV, BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1.
