"Iron Man" director Jon Favreau is hooking up with NBC for a comedy about divorce.
NBC has purchased a script for a project that Favreau will executive-produce. The single-camera comedy will revolve around a divorced dad juggling his return to the single life with the responsibilities of fathering his five-year-old daughter.

"The Office" co-executive producers Warren Lieberstein and Halsted Sullivan will pen the script, as well as executive-produce the project.
Favreau recently directed the pilot for the J.J. Abrams/Eric Kripke drama series "Revolution," which premieres on NBC this fall.
